VFS Global has been chosen to become an official ticket reseller on behalf of ‘the world’s greatest show’, Expo 2020 Dubai.
Customers who travel to the United Arab Emirates during the six-month show will now be able to go to their closest VFS Global Visa Application Centre in India, Russia, Germany, the GCC, China and the UK.
There, they will be able to leverage the services of VFS Global, plan their trip and reserve their tickets for Expo 2020.
From 11th November, business travellers can book their tickets from destination management firms, educational institutions and travel agents.
However, leisure travellers will have to wait until early 2020 before they can book tickets via vfsglobal.com.
The contract was signed in Dubai on 20th October by the CEO of VFS Global Group, Zubin Karkaria, and the CCO of Expo 2020 Dubai, Sanjive Khosla.
An array of packages will be offered by VFS Global with suggested itineraries including the likes of single or three-day passes to Expo 2020 Dubai.
Customers who choose to use the Premium Lounge to submit their application for a visa will be able to make use of discounts on purchasable packages, as will those who are members of the VFS Global Privilege Program.
Karkaria says that the firm has long had a good relationship with the UAE, which has only strengthened over the years.
The company has been offering citizen and visa services on behalf of the UAE government in a number of countries all over the world.
Karkaria says that the firm is pleased to now be able to make use of its extensive operational network to offer the government another service in a number of global regions.

Passes and tickets will be able to be reserved by customers at a VFS Global Dubai Travel Shop, which will be made available in certain Visa Application Centres.
Customers can also use the shop to learn more information about Expo 2020 Dubai.
VFS Global has offered visa application services for the UAE in no less than 15 nations all over the world and also provides eVisa services for Dubai on behalf of residents from more than 180 countries that make use of Emirates Airways.
