A new corporate tool has been announced by travel website Musafir.com in the form of a feature that is intended to improve the relationship between the company and its clients. The sole homegrown travel provider in the whole of the United Arab Emirates is planning to introduce its more than 900 corporate clients into a whole new era of business travel with this new change to its already unparalleled service portfolio. The new online tool will attempt to revolutionise business with the inclusion of a wide array of new features such as the likes of advanced travel policies, which will assist businesses with staying within their budget with more than 20 control checks, including airlines, cities, classes and rating and refundability.

Other features included with the new corporate tool include automated profiles, which enable the efficient importing of all employee preferences and passport information or to connect with just a single sign-on, and paperless approvals, which allow users to make use of one-click processing to send detailed approval requests to their chief executive officers and line managers. The homegrown UAE travel website is claiming that these important features, in conjunction with the ability to get hold of real-time insights and reports, are likely to save clients up to as much as 20% off their travel budgets. A constantly evolving machine learning function lies at the heart of the new tool and will provide travellers with a number of different choices based upon their previous preferences and filters.

Musafir.com’s chief executive officer Sachin Gadoya says that the company has heavily invested in end-to-end automation in regard to corporate travel, and has leveraged machine learning throughout, from the booking process all the way to the reporting, in order to make the business travel experience as seamless as possible. Gadoya says that as the firm continues to expand on the technological front, it will also be branching out geographically. The company is set to reach out even further into the India and Middle East markets, and talks are also progressing into some important economies in South East Asia.

The UAE travel website has also made the announcement recently that it is now on track to achieve a year-on-year growth of 30% within its corporate business by the end of this year, crossing over 100,000 transactions. This success has been attributed to the digital transformation journey that the firm began to embark upon last year, with the use of innovative technology such as natural language processing and machine learning in order to optimise travel planning.

Anyone who is planning to travel within the UAE, the wider region or internationally, whether or not they intend to make use of Musafir.com to do so, will need to get travel insurance prior to their trip. Travel insurance is essential for anyone who is planning to travel as it offers financial protection from the risks that are associated with such an activity, including personal property theft, illness or cancelled flights.
