Emirates Airlines is further expanding its partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai and will be educating festival-goers about its connection to ‘The World’s Greatest Show’ at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.

The festival begins today at the InterContinental Hotel Dubai Festival City and will carry on through to 9th February.

Emirates and Expo 2020 are unleashing a joint interactive space that is aligned with the ‘Tomorrow’ theme, with the rollout of unique on-ground experiences for interaction with visitors of any age.

The aim is to foster a creative environment and encourage discussions about ‘Connecting minds, Creating the future’, which is the main theme of Expo 2020.

From 5th to 8th February, visitors will find out more about the Expo, including getting an exclusive sneak peek at the Emirates Pavilion, which explores the possibilities for the future of commercial travel.

Children get to be creative in the kids’ area, read their favourite books, and discover the activity book Fly With Me Animal Toys, which was created by the airline and contains activities specifically related to Expo 2020.

There is also a large wall for colouring, with exclusive art from Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi on display for the children with a design incorporating a visual interpretation of Expo 2020, including Emirates aircraft and the Emirates Pavilion.

The Expo grounds will be showcased by a bespoke pop-up Expo 2020 Dubai display, which includes a deeper look at the Emirates Pavilion, and visitors can also play an interactive quiz and win Dubai leisure outlet vouchers and Expo 2020 wristbands.

Those attending the festival will also be able to interact with Emirates cabin crew and pilot mascots, who will be roaming the grounds with Latifa and Rashid, the mascots of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Visitors will also be able to use a photo booth to create pictures that are personalised souvenirs.

Emirates is also continuing to strengthen its commitment to the UAE’s cultural events and has already played a big part in helping the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature become the most prominent Dubai literary event in the emirate’s annual calendar.

The airline also supports more than 50 cultural, music and sports events in Dubai in addition to the rest of the United Arab Emirates, assisting with the city’s development into a leading world-class festival and event centre.

The airline’s efforts are also helping to foster vibrant local communities by bringing together people from all walks of life to enjoy memorable shared experiences.

Emirates Airlines is the official airline for Expo 2020 Dubai as well as a premium partner, and has been attempting to capture the attention of the world and to attract as many visitors as possible to the international event.

‘The World’s Greatest Show’ will commence on 20th October and runs through to 21st April next year, and is the first World Expo ever held in the region.

Anyone intending to fly to Dubai to go to Expo 2020 should take out travel insurance to ensure financial protection from unplanned travel events such as losing luggage or flights being cancelled.
