Accor’s trendy eco-hotel brand Ibis Styles has opened a new property in Dubai, its third in the emirate.

Ibis Styles Dubai Airport has 351 rooms and is designed to serve modern cosmopolitan tourists who want a joyful and surprising experience.

The opening of the new hotel is expected to make a significant contribution to the already vibrant hospitality industry in the United Arab Emirates.

Ibis Styles Dubai Airport is strategically positioned in Al Garhoud close to Dubai International Airport and is intended to serve the travel requirements of those travelling for both leisure and business purposes.

The hotel is designed as a trendy home away from home that is stylish, modern and a reflection of Dubai’s cool spirit, according to the cluster general manager Frank Béchemilh.

Young professionals on work or fun visits and couples and families looking for simple accommodation at weekends will see Ibis Styles Dubai Airport as the place to go, Béchemilh claims.

The theme of the hotel is ‘Dubai, The Emirates’, and this is reflected in the hotel’s artwork and overall design – from the stylish guest rooms and Le Styles Café to the lobby.

The walls of all guest rooms depict black and white images of iconic city landmarks, and each room has the brand’s Sweet Bed, which provides the greatest comfort and allows guests to recharge after exploring the bustling city.

Hospitality moves to another level at Ibis Styles Dubai Airport, with the brand’s key attributes being creativity, innovation and technology.

The hotel is the first in the UAE to make use of Scribit Robot, which is the first ‘write and erase’ robot in the world.

The robot will be able to interact with guests at Le Styles Café and can create, recreate and erase designs on the cafe’s canvas walls.

Ibis Styles Dubai Airport is dedicated to creating fun surprises for guests – for example, there is a new mobile check-in handled by the team to ensure that guests can have a more personalised and engaging experience while relaxing after a long day.

With Dubai recently being named as the fourth most visited city in the world, and the much anticipated Expo 2020 Dubai taking place later in the year, the hotel is expecting many more visitors, says Béchemilh.

Travellers who want well-priced and up-to-date accommodation with no-fuss offerings need not look anywhere else but Ibis Styles, which is a brand loved by solo travellers, groups and families, according to Bechemilh.

Ibis Styles Dubai Airport guests are provided with complimentary shuttle buses to pick them up from and drop them off at Terminal 1 and 3 at Dubai International Airport.

Scheduled timings see the bus also taking guests to La Mer Beach and other popular beach destinations.

The hotel is a short walk from the GGICO metro station as well as shopping malls and iconic attractions and landmarks including the Dubai Frame, Dubai Mall, Gold and Spice Souk and Burj Khalifa.

Anyone travelling a long way to stay in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE should take out travel insurance to financially guard against the impact of lost luggage or falling sick while away from home.
